Headshot of Matt Pahuta

Hi there, I'm Matt Pahuta

Frontend Developer

I'm a frontend developer focused on accessible, inclusive design — with a decade of enterprise experience shaping how I build and why.

About Me

I didn't start my career writing components — I spent a decade inside enterprise IT, working across project management, business analysis, and data governance at one of the country's largest credit unions. That work taught me how organizations make decisions, where projects break down, and what it actually takes to create something that sticks.

When I made the move to frontend development, that experience came with me. I build with React, Astro, and Tailwind CSS, with a focus on accessibility and inclusive design — but I also think about the requirements behind the interface, the stakeholders who'll champion it, and the users who'll actually live inside it.

I do my best work on teams that value the whole picture as much as the finished product.
